Aerial Surveying and Geo-mapping -UAV(Drone)

Our aerial data capture & data processing solutions enable us to deliver imaging data more quickly than ever before, ultimately saving our clients time & cutting project costs.
We capture high-resolution aerial image data with confidence in our precision & accuracy by pre- planning our missions and field checking for accuracy while on-site.
We can reduce the need for control points by using direct geo-referencing & advanced aerial
triangulation & photogrammetry software such as Pix4D, Autodesk Recap360 & more.
With our proprietary field & office processes, we have proven to increase the efficiency of our flight
operations & data processing through streamlined workflows & high levels of automation, increasing safety & expediting product deliverables

TYPICAL DRONE SURVEYING WORKFLOW

Flight planning

  1. Choose/import base map
  2. Highlight coverage area (rectangle/polygon/shapefile/kml/kmz,etc...)
  3. Set desired Ground Sampling Distance (i.e. 5 cm (2 in) / pixel)
  4. Flight altitude defined automatically as a result (e.g. 5 cm/pixel = 162 m altitude using
  5. customized Canon S110 RGB & NDVI Cameras)
  6. Flight altitude determines maximum single-flight coverage possible
  7. Automatic definition of flight lines & image capture points
  8. Set image overlap Necessary for stereo coverage
  9. Define safe landing zone
  10. Setting on-site Ground Control Points (GCPs)
  11. For absolute X,Y, Z accuracy of down to 1.5 cm / 5 cm (0.59 in / 2 in)
  12. No GCPs required, to achieve similar accuracy, if using eBee RTK
  13. Optimal size & shape of GCP targets defined by GSD of imagery Flight
  14. Autonomous flight
  15. Monitor progress/change flight plan via flight Mission Planer ground control oftware
  16. Automated landing as per defined landing zone
